Koray Energy is developing a portfolio of 5 solar power projects in Romania with a total installed capacity of 35.44 MWp. Construction is progressing as planned, with a clear focus on commissioning the projects on schedule.
Three of the solar projects are planned to be commissioned by the first half of 2026. The remaining two projects are expected to reach commercial operation in July. In line with this timeline, the entire portfolio will be fully operational within 2026.
Once fully operational, this 35.44 MWp portfolio in Romania will generate enough clean electricity to supply approximately 10,300 households annually. It will also help prevent around 17,100 tonnes of CO₂ emissions each year, equivalent to removing approximately 3,850 vehicles from the road.
This portfolio represents an important milestone in Koray Energy’s journey toward reaching 1 GW of renewable energy capacity across Europe, while also contributing directly to Romania’s energy transition and broader European sustainability goals.
